Rick Best

Associate Professor of Construction Management and Economics Bond University

Rick Best moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney early in 2009. While he is now on the academic staff at Bond University he spent nearly half his working life as a fulltime musician.

He plays piano at various venues on the Gold Coast and he brings a lifelong love of music, and jazz in particular to 94.1.

In his musical career he has worked with the likes of Kerrie Biddell and Graham Lyle, and as an arranger has written for Rhonda Burchmore and the late Ricky May. His favourite piano players include Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Kenny Barron.
