Joe Hall
Joe spent the majority of his life travelling the world, firstly in the navy and then later as a pilot with a major British airline. Throughout his travels he never lost his avid interest in music and soon developed, through those journeys, a strong liking of all forms of jazz. Wherever he was (in virtually all Major Cities of the world) he sought and found new music. Great Latin rhythms - Classic New Orleans – Blues – Rock and so on.
Once retired he was able to devote more time to his love of music and, after emmigrating here to Australia, soon became the “sound mixer” roadie for a well established Trad Jazz group in New South Wales who performed with such greats as James Morrison and others.
Joe moved to the Gold Coast late in 2009 and continues to pursue his interest and love of music trying hard to better his ability by learning to play Clarinet, Alto and Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Guitar, but all the same every Sunday between 12 noon and 3pm Joe is there for your listening pleasure, and enjoys every minute!
